Contents page L.I.A.R Analysis

''Language'' - Technical music terms are used that make the reader feel as though this magazine is knowledgeable and worthy of their purchase. It also makes the magazine seem appealing and relatable and as though you're part of it.

''Ideology'' - It states that it's ''the world's biggest and best music guide'' this entices a reader to buy it and make it seems a cut above the rest of the industry's music magazines.

''Institution'' - The people who make the magazine are people with a great knowledge of music and the bands featured inside the mag. This is apparent with the line ''OASIS SPECIAL''.

''Representation'' - It's represented as being a 'cool' magazine, the guy in the picture is wearing sun glasses which has the connotation of being cool and they are posed like a 'hip' band that you want to read about.
